Most vaccinations are tolerated very well.
There may be a little pain and swelling at
the site of the needle stick for a few hours
which is usually relieved by pain or fever
medication or a warn compress at the site
of the needle stick. During the doctors office
visit consultation a review of your health
status and medications is completed before
any shots are given. It is not very wise to
get shots without consulting with a doctor
and having a doctor present in case there
is a reaction to the various shots you may
take. There could be interaction with
medications you are taking. This same
information apply to flu shots also.
